Benton PUD is a publicly-owned electric distribution utility that provides electricity to 48,000 customers within Kennewick, Prosser, Benton City and surrounding rural communities of Benton County. Benton PUD’s main office is in Kennewick, Washington, with a satellite office in Prosser. Benton PUD delivers a variety of electric, conservation, public safety, and broadband services. Benton PUD has approximately 150 employees.
The ELA equips operational staff with enterprise mobile mapping that seamlessly integrates with GIS. Now all types of crews use up-to-date GIS to help with field work. The rollout includes simple-to-use GPS, tracing, redlining, and inspection capability.
